- Bought the car a few hours before the incident
Bhopal: A college student’s car parked in front of his house in Kohefija was stolen. The student had bought the car the same day. When he could not find the car even after searching around, he went to the police station and filed a report of theft. Police is investigating the matter. According to the police, Jaiprakash Barode (21) lives in Rajiv Nagar Lalghati and is studying BBA from a private college. He bought a Kwid car on November 25. At around 11 pm, Jaiprakash parked his car outside the house and went inside. About three hours later, at 2 am, he heard the sound of the car starting, so he came out of the house. When he saw, someone had stolen his car. When he could not find the car even after searching the surrounding area the whole day, in the evening he went to Kohefija police station and filed a report of car theft. Police is investigating the matter.
Woman’s purse and mobile stolen
Asha Uike, who lives in Chhindwara, was travelling from Junnardev to Bhopal on Tuesday in the general coach of Patalkot Express. The train was very crowded. After alighting at Bhopal railway station, she found that her lady’s purse was missing. The purse contained a mobile phone worth Rs 15,000 and other essential items. Similarly, Bhopal resident Dilip Kumar had reached Bhopal station to go to Rajkot. After boarding the general coach of Somnath Express, he found that his mobile phone kept in his pant pocket had been stolen. The price of the stolen mobile is said to be Rs 9,000. GRP has registered a case against unknown thieves in both the cases.
