JP Nadda slams Kharge for his allegations against Jagdeep Dhankhar

New Delhi, Dec 12 (UNI) BJP MP and Leader of the House in the Rajya Sabha JP Nadda on Thursday condemned Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge for his allegations against Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar.

Addressing the media, JP Nadda termed the allegations as “very unfortunate.

“Mallikarjun Kharge has been given adequate opportunities to speak in the parliament but has said on record that he will not speak,” he said.

“Levelling these kinds of allegations is condemnable,” Nadda added.

On Wednesday, Kharge accused the Rajya Sabha chairman of not giving him “adequate” time in the House to speak.

“Mallikarjun Kharge who is a very senior leader should have the information that the ruling of the chairman is final and unquestionable” Nadda said.

The BJP leader said, “He was also invited into the chamber to speak but he refused. This shows that the motive of the Congress is to not to co-operate in the House…They want to create disruptions in the functioning of Parliament.’

On the Chairman’s mimicry, Nadda said, “The Vice President of India is a constitutional post and his mimicry was done in the parliament premises and the LoP in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi was seen making a video of it and instigating him to continue doing it.”

Over frequent disruptions in parliament, Nadda alleged that “These people (the Opposition) have hurt the democratic system many times…The Congress party wants to delay and divert the issues.”

Nada slammed Congress leader Soni Gandhi over her alleged link with US billionaire George Soros, and said, “The countrymen are very disturbed when they come to know that a person named George Soros wants to disturb the stability of the nation…The nation wants to know the relationship between Sonia Gandhi and George Soros…We will go to the public and raise this issue.”
