- Qualified for Asian Championship
Bhopal: In the CCI 3 Star Eventing Cross Country Competition held from 15 to 18 December 2024 at 61st Cavalry Jaipur, horse rider Raju Singh of Madhya Pradesh State Equestrian Academy performed brilliantly and captured the first and second positions. Raju Singh brought pride to the state by securing first place with 38.8 points with the horse “Mavilan” and second place with 40.6 points with “Matakali”.
Raju Singh has successfully completed the first qualifying trial for the Asian Championship 2025 (Thailand). The second qualifying trial will be held from 14th to 17th next month at Army Polo and Riding Club, Delhi.
State Sports Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang congratulated Raju Singh on this great achievement and said that this is a proud moment for the state. He appreciated the hard work and dedication of the players and trainers of the State Equestrian Academy.
In this competition, Pradeep Kumar and Sharayu of Kumbhbhar Mahesh also displayed their talent by securing third and fourth positions respectively.
