Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the significance of the Sun as a vital energy source, describing solar energy as the best form of energy. He stated that by 2030, Madhya Pradesh aims to fulfill half of its electricity requirements through solar energy. The state is making rapid strides in solar energy production, with the government focused on providing affordable electricity to industries, trade, and agriculture. Dr. Yadav also highlighted that solar energy generated in Agar will be supplied to the Railway Department, enabling trains in seven states to operate sustainably on solar power.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on Friday dedicated 880 MW Agar and Neemuch solar projects built at a cost of Rs 3520 crore at Susner in Agar-Malwa district. This includes a 550 MW solar project in Agar-Malwa district built at a cost of about Rs 2200 crore and a 330 MW solar project in Neemuch district built at a cost of Rs 1320 crore. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also dedicated and performed Bhoomi pujan of development works worth Rs 49.81 crore in Agar-Malwa district.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is determined to empower farmers economically. To enrich farmers, Samman Nidhi and a subsidy of Rs 53 thousand agricultural irrigation electricity bill. Farmers will be made self-reliant in the field of solar energy production for irrigation, for which they will be provided with one lakh solar pumps to generate the electricity they need. The government is doing the work of providing water to the fields of every farmer in the state. The area under irrigation in the state will be increased from 50 lakh hectares to 1 crore hectares. Madhya Pradesh will supersede Haryana and Punjab in crop production.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that to increase the income of farmers, the government is working to encourage animal husbandry along with farming by giving bonuses on the purchase of milk. About 9 percent of the milk production in the country is supplied by Madhya Pradesh. In the next 5 years, the state has to be made the leader in the country by supplying 20 percent through the National Dairy Development Board. The government is making efforts for this. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav appreciated the quality of milk produced in Agar-Malwa district.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is committed to the development and welfare of youth, women, poor, and farmers. Many public welfare schemes were launched for the welfare of all sections. Women are being made self-reliant through Ladli Behna Yojana. Mukhya Mantri Jankalyan Abhiyan and Jankalyan Parv are being celebrated on the completion of one year of the state government. In the Jankalyan Parv, gifts of development work are being given every day. The Mukhya Mantri Jankalyan Abhiyan will run till January 26, during which officials will come door-to-door and provide benefits of government schemes. He said that the eligible beneficiaries who are deprived of the benefits of the schemes should apply for it. The Chief Minister also pledged everyone’s cooperation in the Jankalyan Abhiyan.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi performed the bhoomi pujan of the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal river linking project pending for 20 years in Jaipur on 17th December. This project will bring prosperity to Chambal and Malvanchal. He said that on December 25, a new history will be created in Madhya Pradesh on the 100th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Late. Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. On this day, Prime Minister Shri Modi will give a big gift to the state in the form of Ken-Betwa link project. He invited everyone to participate in the Bhoomi pujan programme organized in Chhatarpur district.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Regional Industry Conclaves have been organized in various areas for the holistic development of the state. Efforts are also being made to increase employment opportunities through industries. In the coming time, big industries will be established in Agar-Malwa district and the youth will get employment. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Modi has been given the gift of the Jhalawar-Agar-Ujjain rail line, and efforts will be made to connect Maa Baglamukhi Dham with the rail line. Bhoomi pujan was also performed by gifting a law college to Agar-Malwa district. He said that no stone will be left unturned in the development of Agar district.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of public welfare schemes in the programme. He presented cheques worth Rs 2.5 crore each to the collectors of Agar and Neemuch districts for solar energy development. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also visited the exhibition organized by the departments of Agriculture, Horticulture, Women and Child Development, etc. on the public welfare schemes of the government on the occasion of Jan Kalyan Parv.
MLA Shri Madhu Gehlot said in the programme that he expressed his gratitude for the gifts given by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav to the district in the last one year. Among those present in the programme were MLA Susner Shri Bhairusingh Bapu, District Panchayat President Smt. Munna Bai Chauhan, Municipality President Shri Nilesh Jain Patel, former MLA Shri Gopal Parmar, Shri Rana Vikram Singh, Smt. Rekha Ratnakar, Shri Laljiram Malviya, Shri Badrilal Soni, Shri Phoolchand Vediyan, Shri Chintaman Rathore, other public representatives and officials.
