New Delhi, Dec 25 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday accused Bharatiya Janata Party of hatching a “conspiracy” with central agencies to arrest Delhi Chief Minister Atishi.
Addressing media, Kejriwal alleged that the BJP is deeply upset by the Mahila Samman Yojana and the Sanjeevani Yojana. Therefore, they have planned to arrest Atishi in the coming days by fabricating a false case.
“We have announced the Mahila Samman Yojana and a scheme for free medical treatment for senior citizens. The BJP is rattled by the registrations for these schemes. The Delhi cabinet has already approved the Rs 1,000 allowance, and a notification has been issued,” he said.
“As per sources, recently a meeting was held between CBI, ED and Income Tax officials, during which they were instructed to arrest CM Atishi by fabricating a false case,” he added.
“Before this, raids will be conducted on senior AAP leaders,” he claimed.
“In the last ten years, the BJP has done no significant work in Delhi. They are seeking votes solely by criticising and abusing Kejriwal. In contrast, the Aam Aadmi Party is running a positive campaign based on its accomplishments,” Kejriwal highlighted.
“Despite all the conspiracies by the BJP and their LG to obstruct our work, we have not stopped,” Kejriwal asserted adding that the BJP is aware they are facing a historic defeat in Delhi, which is why they are conspiring to arrest CM Atishi in a fabricated case.
