Jammu, Jan 5 (UNI) The Jammu Crime Branch has submitted challans against seventeen accused including three bank officers for criminal breach of trust, misappropriation of huge money, fraud, and forgery.
An official spokesman in a statement on Sunday said that the Crime Branch completed the investigation and proved the offence of criminal breach of trust and misappropriation of a large amount against the main accused, the then Branch Manager of Citizens’ Co-operative Bank Vijaypur Rajiv Bali of Jammu and two more Managers of the same Bank and resubmitted challan against them as per Court directions.
Among other accused against whom investigations were completed in different cases and challans filed included two property dealers of Jammu namely Mohd Ramzan and Mohd Sadiq, former ASI of IRP, former government school Teacher, Punjab Armed Police official Sukhwinder Singh of Raja Sansi Amritsar.
“Seven separate challans against seventeen accused have been produced in Ld. courts of law in Jammu, Poonch and Kathua.
The accused belong to Punjab, Haryana, UP, Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch, and Samba, he said.
Senior Superintendent of Police Crime Jammu Benam Tosh said that challans of different cases have been produced in the courts of law for judicial determination.
