Bhopal: Under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, the AYUSH department organized a health camp at the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Barkheda Pathani. The initiative aimed to extend healthcare services to underserved rural populations. Dr. Mudda Sofia, Medical Officer from AYUSH was present and actively engaged in the event.
The camp provided free AYUSH consultations, yoga counseling sessions, and complimentary medicines to the patients visiting the PHC under the Chief Minister’s Sanjeevani Clinic initiative. The camp also included a special yoga session for the patients. Awareness programs were also conducted to educate the attendees about various holistic healthcare solutions.
The beneficiaries included individuals from diverse age groups and socio-economic backgrounds, ranging from young adults to senior citizens. Many people who attended the camp were suffering from chronic illnesses such as hypertension, anxiety, diabetes, and arthritis. The feedback from the patients was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing satisfaction regarding the inclusion of traditional practices like yoga, which provided additional pathways for addressing their health concerns.
