Excise department raided hotels and dhabas

Bhopal, Excise staff raided about a dozen hotels, restaurants and dhabas on Saturday night. During this, people were caught serving alcohol without license. Excise also registered about two dozen cases against their operators and drinking alcohol. All have been arrested and released on bond. District Excise Officer HS Goyal said that different teams were formed under the guidance of Assistant Excise Commissioner Bhopal Deepam Raichura. These teams raided hotels, restaurants and dhabas of Bairagarh, MP Nagar and Raisen Road and other areas. During this, action was taken against Two-Step, Evergreen, Shivhare Dhaba, Atmosphere, TRR, Vayu, Vatika, Khushi Restaurant, Samaira, Resort etc. He said that action was also taken against a restaurant two months ago. Here, Assistant Excise Commissioner Raichura said that the campaign against those who drink and serve illegal liquor will continue.
