Police Constable Missing for Four Days

  • Brother Alleges Foul Play

Datia – Bharat Singh Rawat, a constable posted at Sevda police station, has been missing for the past four days. His younger brother, Sudarshan Rawat, has filed a complaint at Kotwali police station, expressing grave concerns for his brother’s life. He has accused Station In-Charge Dhawal Singh Chauhan and his driver Love Sen of mentally and physically harassing Bharat.

According to Sudarshan, Bharat had strongly opposed the illegal gambling, betting, and liquor trade operating in the Sevda region, leading to continuous harassment. He claims that false FIRs were registered against Bharat and that he was involved in two suspicious accidents within a week.

Fear of Murder

Sudarshan alleges that Bharat went missing after an accident on January 31, 2025, and his phone has been switched off since. He fears his brother has either been abducted or killed. A video of Bharat went viral three days ago, in which he exposed the illegal activities in Sevda and claimed his life was in danger. He stated that if anything happened to him, Station In-Charge Chauhan would be responsible.

Bharat’s disappearance has left his family devastated. His wife is inconsolable, and his 1.5-month-old daughter desperately needs care. His family has urged police authorities to investigate seriously and ensure his safe return.
