Bhopal: Madhai, a tourist spot in Satpura Tiger Reserve Narmadapuram, has been made plastic free. Tourists doing jungle safari in Madhai will not be able to carry water in plastic bottles and items in polythene. Tourists going on jungle safari will have to deposit plastic and polythene at the ticket counter or gate itself.
Madhai Park Management has completely banned single use plastic in Madhai core area from Wednesday, February 12. Steel, aluminum water bottles and cloth bags will also be provided by the park management to the tourists to carry water. Tourists can also rent or buy bottles and cloth bags.
