Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla Performs Bhoomi Pujan for New Auditorium at Tili Chauraha

Sagar: In a major boost to Sagar’s cultural and civic infrastructure, Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla performed the Bhoomi Pujan for a state-of-the-art auditorium at Tili Chauraha. The project, worth Rs 8 crore and being developed by the Municipal Corporation, aims to transform the city’s cultural landscape. The ceremony saw the presence of several distinguished figures, including Sagar MLA Shailendra Jain, Mayor Sangeeta Sushil Tiwari, Collector Sandeep G. R., Superintendent of Police Vikas Shahwal, and Municipal Corporation Commissioner Rajkumar Khatri, along with local councilors and residents.

Rajkumar Khatri, Municipal Commissioner, detailed that the 10,000-square-foot auditorium will be built within a 30,000-square-foot space and will include a grand stage, 350 seats, modern changing rooms, and other advanced facilities suitable for a wide range of events.

Deputy CM Shukla lauded the citizens of Sagar for their ongoing development, highlighting the vital role of CM Mohan Yadav’s initiative to allocate Rs 15 crore to each MLA for local projects. MLA Shailendra Jain dedicated Rs 8 crore of this fund to the auditorium. Shukla also appreciated Collector Sandeep G. R. for securing the land swiftly.

Under Prime Minister Modi’s Smart City initiative, Sagar is undergoing rapid transformation, with improved roads, parks, sports facilities, and lake beautification, positioning it as a model city for growth.
