Procession taken out, bhandaras organized on Chaiti Chand

Bhopal: On the auspicious occasion of Chaiti Chand Festival, Vijay Nagar Utthan Sindhi Panchayat, Lalghati organized a grand procession on the birth anniversary of Lord Jhulelal Ji. This procession started from Shri Ganga Hari Seva Dham Darbar, Vijay Nagar Lalghati and passed through Vijay Nagar, Vallabhnagar, Om Nagar and other prominent localities.

Worship and Prasad distribution

On this auspicious occasion, Lord Jhulelal Ji was worshipped and Aarti was performed as per rituals. After the worship, Prasad was distributed among the devotees. A large number of dignitaries including Vijay Nagar Sindhi Utthan Panchayat patron Ramesh Bhambhani, Chief Advisor Hiranand Ganwani, President Kailash Sharma, Vasudev Jethani, Indradas Meghani and Anand Sabdhani were present in this event.

Lord Jhulelal Ji is considered the revered deity of the Sindhi community. He is worshipped as the water god and inspires the society to follow the path of unity, devotion and truth. Chaiti Chand festival is celebrated as his birthday. He was born in Vikram Samvat 1007 in Sindh province (present Pakistan). On this occasion, the Sindhi community specially worships him and takes out a procession and sings his praises. The entire Sindhi community contributed to the success of the program, who celebrated this auspicious occasion with joy and devotion.
