Bhopal: A special tree plantation program titled Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam was organized on 9th August 2024 in collaboration with Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and CSD Workshop, Bhopal. Dedicating this program to mothers, an initiative was started to plant trees in their name. A Tree in the Name of Mother, dedicated to the protection and prosperity of the environment, aims to connect with the community and promote the importance of sustainable lifestyle while continuing one’s commitment towards environmental protection. In the programme, Second in Command of Border Security Force, Shri Satish Kumar planted a tree in the name of his mother. On this occasion, he said that mother is the first guru of a person in life. In such a situation, participating in the plantation campaign in the name of mother is no less than a good fortune. By joining this program, we can also get the satisfaction of fulfilling our duty towards nature. He said a tree is name of mother is a blessing.
