Bhopal: A youth living in Kolar area committed suicide by hanging himself. His wife had died a month ago. Before this, one of his hands had also been cut off in an accident. Police have started investigation after registering a case.
Kolar police said that 35-year-old Jeetu Suryavanshi, son of Ram Singh Suryavanshi, lived in Bajari area. He returned home drunk on Thursday night. After this, he went straight to his room. At around 8:30 pm, when his mother reached to give him food, Jeetu was found hanging from the noose. When his mother screamed loudly, Jeet’s brother reached there and took him down from the noose and took him to JK Hospital. Here the doctor declared him dead. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started action by preparing a Panchnama. Police have not found a suicide note from the spot. Initial interrogation with the family members revealed that Jeetu was badly injured last year due to being hit by a train. His right hand was cut off. Three fingers of his left hand were also cut off. His wife also died last month. His two children were looked after by his mother and his two brothers. It is believed that due to all these problems, he hanged himself.
