AAP will win all four by-poll seats: Punjab CM Mann

Chandigarh, Oct 23 (UNI) Claiming that people of Punjab were solidly behind the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), state Chief Minister Bhagwat Singh Mann on Wednesday said his party candidates will win all four seats in the upcoming Assembly by-polls.

“AAP will win all the four seats. People are with us because we focus on their issues and work,” Mann said during a meeting with party candidates.

Briefing mediapersons here after the meeting, AAP National General Secretary and MP Sandeep Pathak said the Chief Minister discussed in detail the campaign strategy with the candidates and the party’s senior leadership.

Pathak said the party would focus on agrassroots campaign leading up to the by-polls. He announced that all party members will be actively engaging with voters in villages, laying stress on the issues that matter most to the public.

The campaign will include roadshows and small gatherings, with the participation of AAP leaders, including its National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Mann.

Referring to the current political landscape, Pathak criticised the BJP for resorting to dirty politics in Punjab. He highlighted the central government’s constant conspiracies against AAP and its leaders, claiming that the BJP was frustrated with AAP’s growth and was threatening voters against supporting AAP.
