Absconding accused arrested in drugs case

Bhopal: A joint team of ATS Gujarat, NCB Delhi conducted a raid on 5 October on the information of MD drug being present in a closed factory inside a tin shed in Plot No F 63 of Bagrauda Plateau Industrial Area. The land of Plot No F 63 Industrial Area Bagrauda is allotted in the name of Jaideep Singh Gangwar, age 58 years, resident of village Sawarkheda, police station Hafisganj, district Bareilly, UP, presently House No 162, Neerja Nagar, JK Road Bhopal. A factory shed who had got the said land allotted from AKVN in the name of a furniture factory. Jaideep Singh had transferred the said land in the name of SK Singh, which was not informed to AKVN nor the police.

The act of accused Jaideep Singh and SK Singh was prima facie found to be under section 223 BNS 2023 and a case was registered and investigation was taken up.

Rs 4 lakh withdrawn from stolen ATM

Complainant Mohan Rathore, age 36 years, resident of H.No. 45 behind Suresh grocery shop, Barrai Katara Hills Bhopal, came to the police station and filed a report of his ATM card being stolen and told about the transaction of money from the ATM card. On the complaint’s report, a case was registered at Katara Hills Police Station and investigation was taken up.

In the above case, under the guidance of senior officers, on 23 October, with the help of CCTV photos, the accused Shivam Gaur, son of Suresh Gaur, age 29 years, resident of 410 Piyush Nagar slum, Avadhpuri Bhopal was arrested and questioned about the ATM. He accepted committing the crime and told that about 4 lakh rupees were withdrawn by swiping the stolen ATM card at various places. The accused bought fridge, cooler and other household items with the money and spent some money on food and drinks. As per the information given by the accused, 02 lakh 37 thousand rupees were kept in his house, which was seized from the spot.
