Absconding accused held in attempt to murder case

Bhopal: Talaiya police station has arrested an accused who was absconding in a case of attempt to murder. He was absconding for about a year in a case registered in Ashoka Garden police station. After arresting the accused, he is being handed over to Ashoka Garden police. According to the information, in view of the upcoming festivals, senior police officials have given instructions to take strict action against goons and miscreants and absconding accused. In this connection, while visiting the area on Thursday, Talaiya police received information that an accused absconding from Ashoka Garden police station was standing near Ginnauri Arch Bridge.

After the information, the police reached the spot and took the suspicious youth into custody and interrogated him, he told his name as Saroj alias Ali son of Mohammad Anees (33) resident of Hinoutaya Kachhiyan Chandbad, Thana Station Bajaria. A case of assault and attempt to murder is registered against the accused in Ashoka Garden police station, in which he was absconding for a year. Talaiya police station in-charge Chaturbhuj Rathore, SI Manoj Rawat, head constable Salman Khan, Megh Khatri, Chandrakant Sharma, Chandrabhan Singh, constable Amit Dubey and Kamlesh Parmar played a commendable role in arresting the accused.
