Ashoknagar, A minor incident during Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s visit to Kareeladham in Ashoknagar district today caused a brief disruption as his physical balance was disturbed. However, he quickly regained composure and continued with his scheduled activities. Dr. Yadav was participating in a Color Panchami event at Kareeladham, located in the Bahadarpur police jurisdiction. After visiting the Janaki Mata temple, he was descending a flight of stairs and interacting with the media when, unexpectedly, the welding on the iron railing broke. This caused him to lose his balance momentarily.
Security personnel rushed to his aid as he regained stability almost immediately. The incident left nearby police, administrative officials, and security staff momentarily stunned. The CM was swiftly moved to a safer location. The video of the incident went viral on social media. Despite the viral footage, senior police and administrative officials refrained from making any public comments.
Local representatives confirmed that no one was injured, and the situation was quickly under control, with a major accident narrowly avoided. Eyewitnesses speculated that the railing’s welding gave way due to excessive weight on the iron stairs.
