Bhopal: The police has arrested the accused who stole a mobile worth Rs 1.30 lakh by putting his hand in the counter of a shop located in Hanumanganj. More than a dozen serious crimes are already registered against the arrested accused. According to the information, Kamal Ahirwar (42) lives in Shankar Nagar Barkheda Pathani Govindpura and runs a mobile repair shop. On August 17 last month, he had reached his friend’s shop in Chaitanya Market to buy goods. During this time, he took out his Samsung company’s S-24 Ultra Grey color mobile phone from his pocket and kept it on the counter of the shop. After some time, when he started working, an unknown person put his hand in the counter and stole his mobile worth Rs 1.30 lakh.

The suspicious youth was captured in the CCTV camera, on the basis of which the police was searching for the miscreant. On Tuesday, information was received from an informer that a boy is standing in front of railway station platform number-6 and is trying to sell expensive mobile phones at cheap rates. When the police took him into custody and questioned him, he told his name as Pradeep Yadav (24) resident of Mahavirpura police station Jahangirabad, present address opposite Mandi Gate police station Cholamandir. After searching, a Samsung mobile was recovered from him. Police said that about a dozen crimes including murder, attempt to murder and Arms Act are already registered against the accused.

Woman’s purse, passengers’ mobile phones stolen

A woman’s purse travelling in Amarkantak Express was stolen. The purse contained goods worth thousands of rupees including mobile phone and cash. GRP has registered a case against unknown thieves.

Meanwhile, Pankaj Singh, a resident of Satna, was travelling from Rewa to Bhopal with his friend. After getting down at Rani Kamlapati railway station, he realized that the mobile phone was left on the seat. When he ran to the platform, the train had already left. After that, when he reached Bhopal station and checked his seat, his mobile was missing. The cost of the stolen mobile is said to be 40 thousand rupees.

Youth stabbed over old dispute

In Aishbagh area, four boys stabbed a young man and injured him over an old dispute. According to the police, Tarun Kushwaha (24), who lives in Shankaracharya Nagar, works in a private job. Recently, he had a dispute with a young man named Nishant over dancing on a DJ. On the night of September 10, around 12:15, Tarun had reached Chanakyapuri Chauraha Aishbagh with his brother and friend to have tea. Meanwhile, Nishant, along with his friends Fardeen, Abhay and Rohit, beat him up and attacked him with a knife. While trying to intervene, the brother and friend also got stabbed. The police have registered a case against the four accused.
