Bhopal: Panchayat Committee Trust Bhopal’s president Manoj Banga, secretary Manoj RM said that today the Avtaran Divas of Jainism’s revered saint Shiromani Acharya Ji Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj and Abhinav Acharya Ji Samay Sagar Ji Maharaj was celebrated by the Bhopal Jain community as Guru Gun Upkar Divas.
Today’s special program was celebrated with pomp and devotion at Jawahar Chowk in the presence of Acharya Shri’s senior superior Aryika Shri Guru Mati Mataji and venerable Aryika Dridh Mati Mataji. In the morning at Jawahar Chowk, Shri Ji’s Abhishek Shantidhara Pujan etc. were performed. Today’s special attraction was a grand vehicle rally taken out by Vidyudaya Sangh in which hundreds of youths spread the religion with the cheers of Acharya Shri.
Vidyudaya’s president Neeraj Singhai, secretary Abhiraj said that the city was divided into five zones. The rally from all the five zones reached TT Nagar Square via Kirti Stambh where BJP leader Rahul Kothari welcomed the rally. Thereafter the rally reached Jawahar Chowk temple where the rally was given a grand welcome under the leadership of Manoj Banga. The youth of the Jain community raised slogans through Divya Ghosh.
Manoj RM informed that a camp for girls aged 13 to 24 years named Smart Girl Aao was organised for the first time in Bhopal at Chowk Dharamshala on 19 and 20 October under the aegis of Aryaika Sangh. The banner of the said programme was released. Manoj Banga informed that today evening Maha Aarti of Acharya Shri was performed with 108 lamps at Kirti Stambh. Today special prayers were offered in all the Jain temples of the entire city. Jain Bhajan Sandhya was organised at the 11 mile temple.
