Bhopal: Railway administration conducted a special investigation campaign at Sant Hirdaram Nagar Railway Station, in which strict action was taken against ticketless travel and irregularities in the station premises. This campaign was led by Railway Magistrate Anurag Khare. At the same time, a fine of Rs 65,610 was imposed on irregularities found in 78 cases during a thorough investigation of the station premises and stalls by the Railway Magistrate. A total of Rs 79,600 was recovered in this campaign.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria said that such special campaigns are run from time to time to keep the railway premises well organized, clean and safe. He appealed to the passengers to follow the railway rules and avoid ticketless travel or illegal activities.
