Bhopal: AIIMS Bhopal observed World Homeopathy Day on Thursday marking the birth anniversary of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, who established the homeopathic system of medicine. This annual observance highlights the continuing relevance and contribution of homeopathy as a holistic approach within contemporary healthcare systems. At AIIMS Bhopal, the Homeopathy Unit under the Department of AYUSH is committed to delivering high-quality care for a variety of health issues including skin diseases, pediatric ailments, allergic disorders, age-related prostate enlargement, and mental health conditions. The unit functions from Dhanvantri Bhavan and offers compassionate, individualized care to patients, integrating homeopathic treatment with modern medical practices for optimal outcomes.
The team has undertaken several significant research initiatives in collaboration with other departments. According to Dr. Ashish Kumar Dixit, two major studies on allergic rhinitis are currently being conducted in collaboration with the ENT department (Dr Anjan Kumar Sahoo), involving over 200 patients.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Ajai Singh emphasized the institution’s commitment to advancing holistic healthcare. He said, “Our vision is to provide comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare by harnessing the strengths of every medical science.
