Bhopal: AIIMS Bhopal, under the guidance of Executive Director Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, organized the National Women’s Day on Thursday. The main objective of this event was to honor the achievements of women and promote gender equality and women empowerment in society and the healthcare sector.
Shradha Tiwari, DCP of Bhopal Zone-2, was present as the distinguished guest. While expressing her thoughts, she said, “Women are worshipped as goddesses, and this gives us the opportunity to understand that women hold the highest place in society. We should encourage them to play a significant role not only in homes but also in every field. Moreover, more focus on women’s health is essential.”
Prof. Singh, while sharing his views, said, “There is no need to compare women and men because both are equal and complement each other. When we take steps toward understanding and respecting each other, we can bring real change in society. It is our duty to respect women’s rights.” The program was chaired by Dr. Vaishali Wendeskar, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology.
