AIMMM will launch campaign to strengthen brotherhood : Noorullah

New Delhi, Feb 23 (UNI) The All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mashawrat (AIMMM) Delhi chapter on Sunday expressed deep concern over the growing social tension and attempts to disturb harmony in the country and said that it will launch a massive campaign in collaboration with various religious organizations to strengthen brotherhood and national unity .

After the AIMMM meeting, the organization’s President Syed Noorullah on Sunday said that the country is going through a serious phase where there are attempts to spread tension among the followers of different religions in a planned manner. This tendency is fatal for both the society and the country. He said that some selfish elements are engaged in a conspiracy to harm the Ganga-Jamuni culture of Indian society, which should be thwarted at all costs.

Syed Noorullah appealed to peace-loving Indians to come forward to maintain unity and peace in the society and foil the conspiracies of divisive elements.

He announced that a huge meeting of religious leaders of all religions will be held in April. In this meeting, a comprehensive strategy will be made to strengthen the forces uniting the society and to counter the attempts to break the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice President Dr. M. Rahmatullah said that peace and tranquility are essential for the progress of any society and country. Acting General Secretary Mohammad Tayyab expressed his views on the issues related to Urdu language and stressed the need for its preservation and promotion. Various issues related to auqaf and education were also discussed in detail in the meeting.
