Air India suspends flights to Dhaka

New Delhi, Aug 5 (UNI) In view of the political trouble in Bangladesh, Air India on Monday announced the immediate suspension of all flights to and from Dhaka.

The airline also assured the passengers of a one-time waiver on rescheduling and cancellation charges for flights.

“In view of the emerging situation in Bangladesh, we have cancelled the scheduled operation of our flights to and from Dhaka with immediate effect,” Air India said in a social media post on X.

“We are continuously monitoring the situation and are extending support to our passengers with confirmed bookings for travel to and from Dhaka with a one-time waiver on rescheduling and cancellation charges,” it said.

Safety of our guests and crew remains our foremost priority, it added.
