Patna, Oct 5 (UNI) BJP National President J P Nadda on Thursday said that all regional parties having family dominance would get wiped out in coming days as people of the country were no more prepared to tolerate them.
Nadda, while addressing a function organised here to mark centenary birth anniversary of veteran party leader Kailashpati Mishra, who was pivotal in establishing BJP in Bihar, said that regional parties across the country were mostly of family dominance. It was modus operandi of selfish leaders to launch first regional parties and then convert into their family based parties, he pointed out.
“Regional parties are not only confined to a particular family in the state for their existence but also submerged in neck deep of corruption”, the BJP president said, adding that RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav himself and his family members were facing a series of corruption charges relating to fodder scam and land for job scam in Railways.
Same were the cases with TMC supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M K Stalin and other regional parties in
various states, he added.
Nadda said that mindset of the people had now changed and they were no more prepared to tolerate the regional parties. It was certain that regional parties would get wiped out in days to come, he remarked.
The BJP President pointed out that he had same reservations earlier which did not go well with opposition parties.
He said that corruption involving amount of more thanRs 12 lakh crore had occurred during the regime of Congress led UPA government at the Centre. The aim of newly floated opposition alliance INDIA was to patronise corruption and protect those political families involved in corrupt practices, Nadda alleged.
He indirectly castigated Nitish Kumar government for conducting and releasing the report of caste census, saying his party was committed to ameliorate the lot of poor in the country.
The BJP President also said that schemes launched by Narendra Modi government had benefited most the people belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC).
The Senior BJP leader said his party would not only win 2024 Lok Sabha election but also form its own government in Bihar in 2025 Assembly election.
He also said that his party would not support anyone in becoming CM and form its own government in 2025 Assembly election in Bihar, a reference to stand of BJP that its door was closed for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
