Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal
Before the assembly elections to be held in November, both the major parties of Madhya Pradesh are busy in preparations. On Sunday, BJP presented the report card of its work. Soon after this, many prominent leaders of the Congress came forward and leveled many allegations in a press conference. Today the country’s Home Minister Amit Shah has tried to cover the development of Madhya Pradesh with a patchwork of false figures in his loud voice by issuing a false report card. Because when BJP tells a lie, it makes its voice louder and then prepares for the next lie. Jeetu Patwari said that Amit Shah ji said that he made Madhya Pradesh a better state than a sick state. But while addressing the programs of Jamia, Millia, Islamia on the subject of social and health indicators, Amitabh Kant, the Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog headed by the Modi government himself, has said that India remains backward due to states like Madhya Pradesh. That is, MP was kept in the category of sick state. Congress leaders said that Modi ji’s Niti Aayog recently released the Poverty Index report and said that Madhya Pradesh is among the 4 poorest states in the country on 12 parameters of health, education and wealth. 36.6 percent people of Madhya Pradesh live below the poverty line.
Poverty is highest in the tribal districts of MP. Alirajpur 71.3 percent, Jhabua 68.86 percent, Barwani 61.60 percent, poverty is more than 40 percent in 26 districts of MP.
Centrally Sponsored Scheme, cheating of Center and State
The Union Home Minister today made a false claim that we had given a lot of money to Madhya Pradesh under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme. While the truth is that from April 2023 to August 2023 only five percent of the amount has been spent in the last five months. The Women and Child Development Department has a total of 17 schemes, in which not a single penny was spent. The Centrally Sponsored Scheme of the Medical Education Department has a total of 12 schemes and not a single penny has been spent in them. There are a total of eight schemes of the Backward Classes and Minorities Department, in which not a single penny has been spent. All the schemes of Scheduled Castes Welfare Department and Tribal Department, in which not a single penny has been spent. Not even a single penny was spent on all the schemes of Technical Education, Science Technology, Higher Education Department, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department, Water Resources Department.
