New Delhi, June 16 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah will chair a high-level meeting here on Sunday to review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir and preparedness for Amarnath Yatra.
Meeting will be attended by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, and senior officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs, J&K government, Army, Central forces, and intelligence agencies.
Earlier on Friday, Shah, in view of the increasing terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir, reviewed the security situation with senior officials.
Before his departure for the G7 Summit in Italy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had chaired a review meeting on the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, amid recent terror incidents that took place in the Union Territory.
