Another passenger train will run from the capital Bhopal to Rewa. This train will run two days a week. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave his approval on July 25. Due to the large number of passengers and long waiting times, a demand for a new service was made to the Union Railway Minister, which has now been approved, according to the BJP State General Secretary and MLA Bhagwan Das Sabnani, speaking during a press conference on Sunday. He said that on November 13 last year, this rail service was demanded from Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav in the Diwali Milan Samaroh by Vindhya Ekta Parishad and he gave approval on July 25. He said that a large number of people from the Vindhya region live in the capital Bhopal. About 50 thousand people live in the South-West Assembly constituency of Bhopal, while their number in Bhopal Lok Sabha constituency is more than 4 lakh.
At present, the only direct rail service between Bhopal and Rewa is the Rewanchal Express, for which it can take two months to get a reservation. In such a situation, the demand for another rail service other than Rewanchal Express has been going on for a long time. During the assembly elections on November 13, Vindhya Ekta Parishad officials Sunil Pandey, Mrs. Vandana Dwivedi and councilor R.K. Singh Baghel demanded this rail service from Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav present in the Deepawali Milan program, then Ashwini Vaishnav had assured that if you make Bhagwandas Sabnani an MLA, he would try to start a new rail service. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav called on July 25 to inform that he approved this rail service.
