Dhaka, (UNI) Chief of Bangladesh’s Army Staff Lieutenant General SM Shafi Uddin Ahmed said that Bangladesh Army does not hesitate to sacrifice itself for the sake of the country.
He said, in the unfavorable situation of the country, the Bangladesh Army moved to the grassroots level. Besides, the Bangladesh Army is showing great efficiency outside the country.
He said this today (August 27) morning while addressing at the presentation ceremony of Bangladesh Army Chief and National Purity Award.
This year, 7 people were awarded Army Certificate and 14 people were given National Purity Award.
The army chief said that the Bangladesh army has become more modern than before. The Army is proud to have participated in many unprecedented developments in Bangladesh.
He said, Padma Bridge, Metrorail, and subways were dreams but today they are reality. Bangladesh Army does not hesitate to sacrifice itself for the needs of the country.
The army chief said that if this recognition is given in front of the public, the army members are more motivated, many are motivated to receive this award in the future. This message will go out to all, so that members can give their best in sacrifice and service for the country’s army.
