Bhopal: After the successful organization of Vigilance Awareness Week 2024 at BHEL Bhopal, an award distribution ceremony was organized today. On this occasion, Shri SM Ramanathan, Executive Director, was present as the Chief Guest and Shri Omkarnath Gupta, former Principal District Judge and State Information Commissioner was present as the Special Guest. Shri Pankaj Paradkar, Senior Deputy General Manager, Vigilance Department, all General Managers and other employees were present in the program.
Ramanathan in his address said that vigilance is a continuous process. Everyone should include it in their behaviour and all employee should maintain transparency and honesty in their daily work. Speaking on the occasion Shri Gupta said that the sense of vigilance and honesty should be inculcated from the student days itself so that when they grow up and go to different positions, the path of transparency and integrity can be strengthened.
Under Vigilance Awareness Week 2024, various programs were organized by the Vigilance Department of BHEL Bhopal. Under this, the department organized programs in Vikram School, Jawahar School, Government Higher Secondary School. The students were administered the oath of integrity in the schools of township, Adampur Chhawni and Kasturba College. On this occasion, the Head of the Vigilance Department Shri Pankaj Paradkar, in his welcome address throwing light on this year’s vigilance theme “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity”, gave information about the various activities organized during the week. He said that during the entire vigilance week, more than 7500 people, including adults and children, were administered the oath of integrity.
