Baku, Aug 2 (UNI) The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has started gas supplies to Slovenia, the company’s press service said.
“Azerbaijan has started gas supplies to Slovenia. Gas supplies are carried out in accordance with the memorandum of understanding between SOCAR and the largest company on the Slovenian natural gas market, Geoplin, on expanding cooperation in the field of gas supply, signed on July 17 of this year,” the company said on Thursday.
After Turkey, Georgia, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Serbia, Slovenia has become the ninth country to purchase Azerbaijani gas.
