Ban on transfers in MP can now be lifted. This ban can be lifted for 15 days. The MP’s transfer policy is ready.

Due to assembly elections last year and then Lok Sabha elections later, transfers have been banned for more than a year in the state. Last year, transfers were done for a limited time between 15 and 30 June, later it was extended till 7 July, but only limited transfers were done during this period, especially employees associated with election work were not transferred, such officers and employees who were posted at the same place for more than three years.

Such employees and officials were definitely transferred, this gathering was done keeping the assembly elections in mind, but this time there is a possibility of transfers on a large scale in the state. The ban on transfers can be lifted till 5 September. However, there will be a possibility of extension of time even after that.

Minister in charge will be powerful within the district: The Minister in charge will have the right to transfer the posts of the district cadre within the district. The approval of the Minister in charge is being made mandatory in the proposal prepared in this regard. After the approval of the Minister in charge, the Collector will issue the transfer list.

Transfer policy now after ministers take charge

It was already believed that the ban on transfers in the state will not be lifted until the ministers are allotted districts of charge. Before 15 August, districts of charge have been allotted to ministers in the state, so now the time has come to lift the ban on transfers. The General Administration Department has prepared a draft of the new transfer policy, which will be presented in the cabinet for decision.

State level transfers will be done by the departmental minister

The departmental minister will have the authority to transfer the employees of the state cadre, the departmental minister will transfer the employees and officers of the state cadre related to his department. For this, the department will prepare a proposal and then the departmental minister will approve it, the head of the department will be able to do these transfers only after the approval of the departmental minister. At the same time, the transfer board will prepare a proposal for the transfer of the police department, after which the transfer orders will be issued with the consent and approval of the departmental minister.
