The ban on transfers in Madhya Pradesh will soon be lifted for 15 days. In the new transfer policy made by the government, all departments have been allowed to transfer on an administrative and voluntary basis.
But not more than 20 percent transfers can be done in any cadre. Earlier, the ban was lifted for one month in July last year by announcing the transfer policy in the year 2021 in the state. Ministry sources said that from the second week of this month, the Mohan Yadav government can lift the ban on transfers for 15 days. Along with this, a new transfer policy can also be announced. It is being speculated that after the ban on transfers is lifted, administrative surgery can be done on a large scale in the state. The government is soon preparing a draft of the new transfer policy, which will be finalized after consultation with Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and ministers.
In the new transfer policy, priority will be given to transfers on grounds of serious illness, administrative, voluntary and other grounds. This time, due to the code of conduct of the assembly and Lok Sabha elections, transfers were banned.
