Dhaka, Aug 7 (UNI) Bangladesh’s Attorney General A M Amin Uddin has resigned, media reports said on Wednesday even as the troubled country prepared for a regime change in the backdrop of violent quota protests that sent Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina into exile.
“I have sent my resignation letter to the president. I mentioned personal difficulties as the reason for resignation in the letter, ” said Amin Uddin, reported the Daily Star.
The senior advocate refused to give any further details, reports said.
Amin Uddin was appointed as attorney general by the president on October 8, 2020.
