Behnas celebrate Rakhi CM

Bhopal: When Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reached village Banjari located on the Seoni-Jabalpur border from Jabalpur by road, he was welcomed by local public representatives including MLA Barghat Shri Kamal Marskole, District Panchayat President Smt. Malti Dehariya and senior District officers. On the way from village Banjari to Seoni, women tied rakhi to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav in Nagandevri, Lakhnadon, Ganeshganj, Chhapara, and Bandol. He congratulated the sisters on Raksha Bandhan and Krishna Janmashtami.

I will never forget the love of the sisters

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was greeted by the city residents at Seoni district headquarters. He said that the state government is celebrating festivals with sisters throughout August. Many important decisions have been taken by the government in the favour of women’s empowerment. He informed that the festival of Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated in the state on August 10. On this occasion, in addition to the amount of Rs 1250 per month given to the Ladli Behnas of the state, an amount of Rs 250 is being additionally transferred to their bank accounts for Raksha Bandhan so that they can celebrate the festival with full enthusiasm. He said that on August 10, grand events will be organized village-wise, ward-wise, body-wise, and district-wise. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that he will always cherish the love of the sisters of Seoni district in his memory.
