Behnas of Badipura-Azadpura of Nagda to recieve Residential Pattas: CM Dr. Yadav

Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed his desire for the continued love and blessings of the Ladli Behnas and emphasized the importance of maintaining smiles on their faces. He highlighted that Rakshabandhan is a significant festival in Indian culture, symbolizing protection and the bonds of love, dedication, loyalty, and commitment between brother and sisters. During the Rakshabandhan celebration at Badipura-Azadpura in Nagda, Ujjain district, Dr. Yadav extended his heartfelt wishes for a life filled with happiness, prosperity, and dignity to all sisters. He also announced that residential pattas will be granted to the Behnas of Badipura-Azadpura.

The Chief Minister remarked that the true essence of festivals often goes unrecognized in their traditional observance. In our country, family traditions and customs are deeply embedded within these celebrations. Our sages and seers established these traditions, which are now reflected in our family lives. Dr. Yadav emphasized that love is nurtured through both Shakti and Bhakti and expressed a wish for peace and tranquility in our country and state. He encouraged everyone to work with morality, decency, honesty, and brotherhood, values that our festivals embody. He noted that festivals should be celebrated inclusively and that everyone deserves a happy life. The government’s commitment is to ensure the well-being of all citizens, as reflected in the joy and togetherness of our festivals.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav began the event with a kanya pujan and by garlanding a portrait of Maa Saraswati. MLA Dr. Tej Bahadur Singh Chauhan remarked that, for the first time in independent India, a Chief Minister has made history by receiving the Raksha Sutra from the Ladli Behnas at Azadpura Nagda on the sacred festival of Rakshabandhan. He described this moment as unforgettable and called for the provision of pattas to the sisters residing in the slums of Azadpur-Badipura.

MP Shri Anil Firojia, Collector Shri Neeraj Kumar Singh, SP Shri Pradeep Sharma, Shri Sultan Singh Shekhawat, Former MLA Shri Lal Singh Ranaut, Shri Rajendra Bharti, Shri Bahadur Singh Bormundla, Municipal Council Chairman Smt. Santosh OP Gehlot, corporators, public representatives and Ladli Behnad were present.
