Beijing, Aug 25 (UNI) China is strongly opposed to the US sanctions against Chinese companies due to alleged ties with Russia, the Chinese Commerce Ministry said on Sunday.
Earlier, the US added over 60 legal entities from Russia, 42 Chinese organizations and 11 Iranian ones to the export control list. The document explains that some of the companies were added to the lists for alleged transferring American components on behalf of Russian entities that were subject to sanctions.
“The US added a number of Chinese companies to the export control list due to so-called ties with Russia. China is strongly opposed to this,” the ministry said.
