Railway’s UTS on Mobile App has become quite popular for unreserved ticket passengers to save time and get rid of the hassle of standing in line.
1,67,261 passengers booked their tickets through this app in July alone, which earned Railways a revenue of Rs 30.63 lakh.
Under the ongoing awareness campaign of divisional commercial railway personnel under the able guidance of General Manager Shobhana Bandopadhyay, UTS on Mobile App is becoming very popular among the passengers in Bhopal Division. As a result, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria in Bhopal Railway Division has appealed to the passengers traveling with unreserved tickets to promote the use of UTS on a mobile ticketing app and take advantage of the benefits associated with its use.
UTS on Mobile App facility is available for online unreserved rail ticket booking at all stations of Bhopal division. The purpose of starting UTS on Mobile App is to encourage digital ticketing mode, promote self ticketing.
This app is available on Google Play Store, Windows Store and Apple Store under the name UTS. Download the app from any of the above stores and sign up for registration.
Use mobile app like this
First login to book a ticket. Register login ID in mobile number. Use a four digit password received through message. Use R-Wallet to book tickets. Currently, Railways also gives 3 percent bonus on recharging R-Wallet. Recharge R-Wallet with debit card, net banking, UPI or UTS counter for minimum Rs. 100/- and maximum Rs. 9500/- in multiples of Rs. 100/-.
