Bhopal: The first issue of the departmental Hindi e-magazine ‘Unnati’ was successfully released recently, marking a significant milestone in the department’s journey towards digital transformation. The inauguration ceremony was led by Gautam Majumdar, General Manager (CMG, PMG, CC & DTG), who inaugurated the magazine, appreciated the team’s efforts, and encouraged further participation in such initiatives.
The General Manager emphasized the extensive array of articles featured in the magazine, contributed by DTG team members managing systems across various domains such as business planning, business procurement, design and engineering, material supply, production, delivery, receivables, payables and accounting, and erection and commissioning. In addition to the contributions from the DTG team, children also showcased their talents in the magazine, further enriching its content and highlighting their creativity. This diverse collection of articles underscores the department’s holistic approach to digitalization.
During the event, Poonam Sahu, Rajbhasha Officer, emphasized the importance of using Hindi in departmental communications and praised the initiative for promoting linguistic inclusivity.
In his address, the General Manager stressed that BHEL has received an impressive number of orders and the focus should now be on the timely execution of projects. He emphasized the need for designing systems that facilitate fast execution, thereby ensuring the company’s competitive edge in the market.
The editorial team, comprising Departmental Head NP Sanodia, Secretary (Hindi Committee) SN Shrivastava, Editor Molly Bibleen Xaxa, other members of the Hindi Committee, and Section Heads Vivek Pathak (Addl. GM/DTG) and Nitin Tamarkar (Sr.DGM/DTG), were present at the occasion. Their collective effort in bringing out the first issue of ‘Unnati’ was commendable, setting a high standard for future editions.
This release marks a proud moment for the department and underscores the collective efforts towards achieving digital transformation and excellence.
