The 39th anniversary of the Union Carbide accident in Bhopal is on 3rd December. Before this, on December 2, organizations associated with gas victims will take out a candle march in Bhopal.

They also thanked the director-producer and actors for the movie ‘The Railwayman’ made on the recent Bhopal gas tragedy. Rachana Dhingra of Bhopal Group for Information and Action said that information has been received about the process of closing the department established by the state government for the welfare of the Bhopal victims. It is proposed to hand over 5 hospitals and 9 dispensaries run by the Gas Relief Department to the Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education Department. If this happens then we will not step back from taking to the streets. At the same time, will also go to the Supreme Court.
Will appeal to PM – President of Bhopal Gas Victims Destitute Pensioners Sangharsh Morcha, Balkrishna Namdev said that Union Carbide has been absconding for the last 31 years and now the owner of the fugitive company, Dow Chemical, has been summoned in a criminal case on the accident due to our efforts.

This company, being the owner of Union Carbide, is responsible for its criminal responsibilities. Appeared for the first time in a criminal case. It is now up to the prosecution’s Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to ensure that Dow gets the harshest possible punishment for his crimes in Bhopal.
