Bhopal receives 12 cm rainfall

Bhopal, Entry of monsoon brought rainfall on Friday in state. During the intervening night of Thursday-Friday and till Friday morning, Bhopal received 12 cm of rain, while Sehore saw over 10 cm of rain in just two hours. This has caused the water level in the Siwan River to rise rapidly, which was dry until Thursday. Ujjain, Ratlam, Shajapur, and Raisen have been experiencing intermittent rain since late Thursday night. In Indore, clouds and gusty winds are prevalent. Many low-lying areas in the city have become waterlogged due to showers. Light showers and drizzle continue in Bhopal and rainfall occurred in the afternoon and evening hours also. Dark clouds covered the skies bringing down the mercury substantially.
