  • File complaint on calling BJP State President ‘impotent’

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal
BJP workers reached the Crime Branch police station in Bhopal on Sunday and demanded an FIR against former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh.

In a press conference held at the CPI(M) office in Bhopal on Saturday, Digvijay Singh used the word Napunsak (Impotent) for BJP state president VD Sharma. BJP called this statement insulting and submitted a memorandum to Additional DCP Shailendra Singh Chauhan at Crime Branch police station. Bhopal BJP district president Sumit Pachauri said, ‘Digvijay Singh has held big posts like Chief Minister. He should not do such low level politics. He said this only because our state president had said that the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe brothers are developing. Digvijay Singh asked Muslims to become a supporter by saying that Muslims are getting less benefits than the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe people.

Pachauri said, I want to say that Digvijay Singh, if you are such a supporter of Muslims, then give your fort of Raghunath to Muslims. Make a Muslim worker contest from Jaivardhan Singh’s seat. But, stop this kind of low level politics. He has said such things in the past as well. That is why today we have come to lodge an FIR. The officials said that they are registering an FIR.
