Araria/Muzaffarpur, May 2 (UNI) BJP-NDA is poised for a resounding victory in Bihar under the steadfast leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claimed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), National President J.P Nadda and emphasised that while the BJP stood for service and good governance, the RJD and Congress symbolised corruption, misrule, and dynastic politics.
While addressing an election rally in Araria and Muzaffarpur on Thursday, Nadda said that under the stewardship of Modi over the past decade, there has been a steadfast commitment to welfare, governance, and the upliftment of the underprivileged. On one hand, there exists a narrative of progress, governance, and service, while on the other, the reign of corruption and misrule under the RJD and Congress focused solely on self-interest, he alleged.
Dubbing RJD as a quagmire of bribers and jungle raj, Nadda coined an abbreviation for RJD and elaborated that RJD means – R means Rishwatkhori, J means Jungle Raj and D means Daldal.
Accusing Congress party of supporting anti-nationals, which he termed as extremely unfortunate, Nadda blamed Congress for giving tickets to those who raised slogans of “Bharat tere tukde honge” in JNU.
He further stated that Congress-RJD want to change the Constitution and take away the reservation of Dalits and backward classes and give reservation on the basis of religion.
The BJP government stands for service and good governance, the RJD and Congress stands for plunder and nepotism, said the BJP leader. He said the RJD national president Lalu Prasad Yadav had joined the JP movement in 1974 and launched a campaign against the nepotism and corruption of the Congress, but today he himself is immersed in corruption by joining hands with the Congress.
Dubbing INDI Alliance as a clan of dynastic and corrupt parties, he said that half of its leaders are in jail and half are on bail.
Describing opposition parties anti-Sanatan, he said that they compare Sanatan Dharma with dengue and malaria. Congress party supports anti-nationals, which is extremely unfortunate.
He said that during the UPA tenure, the Congress government was consistently opposed to Ram, even questioning his existence, which was deeply insulting to millions of Hindus across the country.
Nadda further said that the transformation of India over the past decade under the leadership of Modi was evident, with its economy ascending from the 10th to the 5th rank globally.
He reiterated that within two years, India which is the third-largest automobile market in the world, surpassing Japan will emerge as the third-largest economy in the world. The country has also made significant progress in the pharmacy and petrochemical sector and with the ‘Made in India’ initiative, domestic manufacturing of mobile phones has increased substantially. Currently, 97 percent of mobile phones are manufactured in India.
Highlighting the infrastructural growth, he said approximately 55,000 KMs of national highways have been constructed, and every day, around 29-30 kilometers of national highways are being built, 26 kilometers of railway tracks are laid daily, and 52 thousand kilometers of railway electrification have been completed.
Lauding the efforts of Modi during COVID pandemic he said it was Modi who worked tirelessly and saved 140 crore people in India. He also referred to the tough decision taken by Modi in the interest of the people during the pandemic. He said within nine months two vaccines were developed, and 220 crore double doses were administered, making India ready for the world’s largest vaccine programme with the fastest vaccine rollout.
He said that Congress and RJD members who were asking people not to take the Modi vaccine, secretly got themselves vaccinated.
Along with vaccinating own people, India exported COVID vaccines to 100 countries under the ‘Vaccine Maitri’ initiative and provided vaccines free of cost to 48 countries, he maintained.

BJP National President also highlighted the contrasting ideologies behind the formation of the INDI Alliance and said that Modi has given acall for
“Bhrashtachar Hatao” but INDI alliance’s their motto was of “Bhrashtachari Bachao”.
He said Congress party was involved in various corruption scandals, including the coal scam, submarine scam, helicopter scam, Commonwealth scam, and the 2G scam. He also pointed out the extensive list of corruption charges against individuals from different political spheres, including Lalu Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, Stalin, Arvind Kejriwal, and others.
Nadda highlighted the involvement of various political figures in dynastic politics within the INDI Alliance, including Farooq Abdullah and Umar Abdullah, representing a family-oriented approach. Additionally, he noted the presence of familial parties led by figures like Mehbooba Mufti and the Mufti family, Chautala, Badal, Mulayam Singh, Dimple Yadav, and Akhilesh Yadav, as well as Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi, Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, Mamata Banerjee Abhishek Banerjee, KCR, KTM, and Kavitha’s factions, the Thackeray family’s involvement with Uddhav Thackeray and Aditya Thackeray, and the Gandhi family’s influence with Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi.
He emphasized that these individuals have no connection with the people and only prioritize their own and their family’s interests.
Nadda underscored the INDI Alliance’s proposal to grant reservations based on religion, contrary to B.R. Ambedkar’s stance against caste-based reservations.
INDI Alliance’s stance on religion, particularly their opposition to Sanatan, and their rejection of the Ram Mandir as evidenced by their previous claims that Ram was fictional.
BJP National President stated that for many years, there was politics of appeasement in the name of religion in the country but under Modi’ rule the country now follows a policy of development and accountability.
