BJP will be wiped out in by-elections: Akhilesh

Mainpuri (UP), Nov 15 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav on Friday said that SP is going to win all the seats in the assembly by-elections being held in Uttar Pradesh.

In a public meeting held at Kosma intersection in Mainpuri, Akhilesh said, “Karhal’s victory will be the biggest. Seeing the crowd in today’s meeting, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) people are assuming that SP is winning.”

He took a dig at Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said that now Yogi ji will do yoga, and all the eight seats of the assembly by-elections being held in UP are going out of his hands. “This by-election will also show the picture of the 2027 assembly elections. In 2027, BJP will be out of UP,” he claimed.

The SP chief said that the election result of Maharashtra will decide the future of UP. “There will be a change in UP after the election results of Maharashtra Assembly elections,” he said.

In the by-election being held on the Karhal assembly seat of Mainpuri, Tej Pratap Yadav of SP is contesting against Anuj Yadav of BJP. Both are relatives.
