BJP’s Nishikant must apologise for Priyanka remark: Cong

New Delhi, Aug 6 (UNI) The Congress on Tuesday termed the statement of BJP MP Nishikant Dubey that Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra attended the wedding of industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s son as “completely false” and demanded an apology from him.

Lok Sabha MP and Congress general secretary organization K C Venugopal had an argument with Nishikant Dubey, while the discussion on Finance Bill 2024 was on, and said, “Every time honourable Chair allowed Nishikant Dubey to speak. Whenever he spoke in the House, he spoke lies only”.

Meanwhile, Chairman, Media & Publicity Department of Congress, Pawan Khera said, “Today a BJP MP openly lied in Parliament. Nishikant Dubey said that Mrs. Priyanka Gandhi attended the wedding ceremony of the Ambani family. This is a blatant lie.”
