Bohra community celebrates Eid with joy and tradition

Bhopal: After concluding the prayers for the holy month of Ramadan, the Bohra community in Bhopal celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with great joy on Sunday. The Eid prayers were offered at 6 AM in the city’s main mosques, where thousands of community members participated.

Following the prayers, people embraced each other, exchanged Eid Mubarak greetings, and enjoyed the traditional dish, Sheer Khurma. As per tradition, children were given Eidi, adding to the festive spirit.

Approximately 7,000 members of the Bohra community reside in Bhopal district. They gathered for prayers at various mosques, including Haidri Masjid in Aliganj, Badri Masjid, Safia College, Ahmadi Masjid at Bhopal Talkies, Hussaini Masjid in Peergate, Burhari Masjid in Karound, and Noor Mahal Markaz.

On this occasion, community members emphasized the importance of continuing good deeds. They expressed that Eid is not just a festival but also an opportunity to spread kindness and promote goodwill.
