Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 22 (UNI) An Air India flight from Mumbai to Thiruvananthapuram received a bomb threat around 7.30 am on Thursday, forcing a landing under full emergency at the airport here, official sources said.
The AI 657 (Bombay-Trivandrum) flight, with 135 passengers, landed safely around 8 am and after the landing a full evacuation was carried out at the airport, they said.
After checking of the aircraft, emergency was withdrawn at 12.10 pm.
The return flight AI 658, which was scheduled for 8.45 am, was cancelled but AI made alternative arrangements for the passengers, sources said.
