Bonsai exhibition from today

A three-day international bonsai exhibition and workshop will be organized in the capital’s Government Rose Garden from today for two days, in which more than 50 years old bonsai trees will be seen. More than 400 bonsai trees will be included in the exhibition.

This information was given by the founder president of Lake City Bonsai Association Arundhati Tiwari during a press conference on Wednesday. She said that the exhibition will be inaugurated by Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Sarang on November 15 at 4 pm, while the program will be presided over by Social Justice and Disabled Empowerment, Horticulture Food Processing Minister Narayan Singh Kushwaha. President Tiwari said that this exhibition will be open to the general public on Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 8 pm. He said that earlier such an exhibition was organized in November 2018, after which this event is being organized now. Jade, Madhukamini, Ficus, Buddha Peepal trees will be specially displayed in the exhibition. They will be given special shape in big pots, so that they naturally look like big trees in small size. He told that the purpose of this exhibition is to promote Bonsai art and to promote awareness among people about this wonderful poetic gardening art.
