BSF neutralizes a Pakistani intruder on Punjab Border

Jalandhar, July 2 (UNI) Border Security Force (BSF) killed a Pakistani intruder who despite warnings from the BSF troops continued to advance towards the Indian Territory.

A spokesperson of the Punjab Frontier HQ of the BSF here said that on Monday night at about 09:30 PM, alert BSF troops observed suspicious movement of a Pakistani miscreant approaching the BSF after crossing over the International Border in the area in the nearby bordering Village- Sardarpura in district Fazilka.

The alert BSF troops challenged the intruder but he did not stop and continued his advance towards the BSF. Sensing imminent danger and keeping in view the high-alert situation on the border during night hours, the troops on duty, fired upon the advancing intruder neutralizing him on the spot.
